1. I happen to know bodbot.com is a really good workout and diet planner, reccomending particular exercises and meals to suit the goals of its applicants, sometimes ever suggestion supplements and vitamins based on nutritional information supplied by the people using it... so there is that...
2. I reccomend cutting cardio to one day a week, devoting 3 more to the particular muscle groups you are hoping to strengthen, 2 days for evening out the exercises ad one day for rest.
3. For gyms and exercise centers, look for something that suits your needs, for instance, if a person is training for a triathlon, they wouldnt look for a gym without a pool would they?
