Actually my complete beleif on U$ freedom's is that you are free but that comes at a price. And that we barter and negotiate our freedom back and forth. Although sometimes we get ripped off. Sorry not trying to get phillisophical with you guys but that's how I feel. The U$ motto should be "Freedom at Price!"

I live in the us, new york, and I think that the slogan "home of the free" is just a big form of propaganda that the gov has created.

Yup !! "Blighty" Oxford Concise says " army slang .. England , Home after foreign service " nothing about war wounds tho, !! "Brit Slang " suggests that the word doesnt sound right unless escaping from the mouth of the upper classes ...(thats posh to me and you ) :!:

 No I think that "Police State "is slowly becoming a UK phenomena aswell, after all "our Tony" loves George a lot and it seems our government in good old Blighty are introducing an awful lot of US type policies... but thats just politics, yawn ...... Sorry Chymos , you may be from US & I may be from UK but Im sure we came from the same planet originally :?:

There is still one place you can move to without having to learn a new language and have the possibility of freedom. Outer Space. Maybe we'll all move there some day.

Jack . Im sure we will move to outer space one day... But I saw on the news President Bush is planning to have you guys on the moon by 2020, so I dont think their will be any freedom. Lots of laws , a few armies and the IRS probably but no freedom!!lol

I, too, am from the US - the midwest, actually. it heartens me to see such animosity towards the US; i know now that at least there's others who feel the same way as i do, you know? I was in some doubt about that, considering most of my neighbors are flag-waving patriots who count 'questioning Dubya's spoken word' a sin *rolls eyes*
