Approximately 5 years later, the last alien dies from a particularly bad strain of Influenza, thus we end up, alone on an earth, with alien tech, and the mentality of tribal domesticated pets. I estimate in real human evolution terms it'd be about 200,000 BC, and instead of loin cloths, we have lovely snazzy threads!
