a RSS feed permit in a rss reader (or a mail client) to see all news of a website, like a mail.

It's not the same technology
in rss feed you can choose what category of things you want to receive, for example :
- new file,
- new scripts,
....

Wow, this is the most incoherent topic I've seen on these forums.
An RSS feed is sort of a list of changes to a part of a website. Anytime there's a new file it automatically updates the feed. If you use an RSS reader you can then get RSS feeds from lots of different websites in one spot and it will tell you when they update and many new items appeared on the feed.
So what you end up being able to do is check the new files from WMM, the latest headlines from CNN, your favorite blog's most recent post, find out if that online story you follow updated, see today's strips of your favorite newspaper comics, and also get news from several different sources all in one webpage or program. It's incredibly convenient, then you don't have to go to 16 different websites to find out if there's anything new.
Usually the way to get the RSS feed from a website is you just paste the address of the website into the RSS reader and most of them can search the webpage for links to RSS feeds. But usually there are links on the website itself too. And some browsers have a way to detect them for you as well.
