I have been considering adding video to WMM, it seems like the next natural progression of the website. The question is, what would people like to see video of, and does anyone think it's a good idea? I would really love any feedback anyone has on this. Also, I'm adding a new links category for links to hypnosis video on youtube etc.

Personally I think it would be a great addition to the site. Video would allow hypnotist to create there own videos to go with their files which would probably work better than using something like VH since they would be specifically designed for each file.

Also it would add a new element two the gallery section if enabled.

What might work well also is to have it set up so a low rez version can be viewed on the site for free (like YouTube) which can easily be done with Flash. Then have a high rez version available for download for those with a membership.

i like GuyD's idea, but the video idea overall is a great idea.

I think videos to accompany files and increase their potency is a good idea. And success story videos/time-lapse journals of progress would also be of interest. However, I personally wouldn't like to think that this interesting, if kinky resource site is about to turn pornographic. But then, if it were to go that way, I don't have to look, do I? Just throwing in my two cents.

Why not start with a video section that allows embedded videos from other sites? Then people can host them wherever, but you can aggregate them here. Once it gets going, then you can figure out the higher end members area.

Flash-based. Does FLV video similar to YouTube/etc. Not free for commercial use, but the site says it's 15 euros for a license.

i'd start simple by adding some trance-inducing or aiding visuals to the current sound files for those of us whose mind wanders when we have nothing to look at.

definitely some trance inducing videos would be great. especially embedded with subliminals and strong imagery

My only experiences with hypnosis files are purely audio. Adding a video element would certainly add a new element of enjoyment for the subject to experience. I like the idea. :D

I am looking into it more, and expect something will come of it. Now, I can't say at what point it will happen, and I can't say when there will be a first video by EMG.
