trouble with EMG's files

hello, i'm a bit new here. this is my first time posting on the forum, but i would really like help with something that i'm having problems with. every file i've downloaded that was done by EMG is choppy. i tried listening to the blank and anthro cowgirl files, and the audio would randomly pause just long enough and frequent enough to bug me. i downloaded some files by other users and they worked just fine. one of them was EMG's blank with some binaural stuff added and it was smooth and effective. so why can't i get EMG's files to play right?

A lot of EMG's older files used to have odd encoding glitches; they play fine in some players, but not others. I think its because the file headers declare the wrong frequency or something, though I can't quite remember now.

Try playing the audio with a different player?

I've noticed that, for whatever reason, even some commercially produced MP3s won't play well with Windows Media Player but will work flawlessly with VLC.

It's free and has all the features I want for media playback.
